Oh to Grace how great a debtor, daily I'm constrained to be
Let thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wand'ring heart to thee.
Prone to wonder, Lord I feel it. Prone to leave the God I love.
Here's my heart Lord take and seal it; seal it for thy courts above.
Hence the name of this blog. My name is Allison, and I am eternally saved by the grace of my God. I don't always feel Him. It doesn't always make sense, but I can eternally rest in the fact of His grace toward me. Grace which I do not deserve. You see, I am a desperately wicked person. The Bible says so in Jeremiah 17:9,
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds."
If that were the end of the story, I would be ruined. But you see, that is not the end of my story, because through God's grace, He sent his Son to die in my place and take the punishment for my sin. Now I no longer have anything to dread.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD."
Praise my God! Hallejah! I am saved by His Grace!
